Groups

Small Groups exist at First Baptist Church for a host of reasons, but all offer the chance to build significant relationships, to come to a deeper understanding and experience of faith, and to care for others.

Some groups focus on study (bible or book), some on building community, and some on a specific task or ministry. Several small groups operate at various locations throughout the year. Other groups meet occasionally for social activities.

While adult groups are open to all ages, there are also study groups specifically for young adults. For more information, contact us.

Seasonal Retreats

Retreats are offered on a Saturday each year at the beginning of Advent (late Nov. or early Dec.) and Lent (Feb./Mar.). These retreats help shape our preparation for Christmas and Easter.

First Baptist Choir

This group of singers and musicians rehearse weekly and offer music for Sunday morning worship. A Handbell Choir also performs at some of the services and choir events throughout the year. For more information, please contact us.

Mustard Seed

First Baptist Church Edmonton is a founding partner and regular contributor to the Mustard Seed Street Church, operating care programs in Edmonton & Calgary.

Special Events

Theology and Culture Seminars are held throughout the year to explore the way we follow Jesus for the good of the world! FBC also hosts meals and activities throughout the year to strengthen relationships amongst its congregants. For more information please contact us.
